This is my journey into painting and finding my personal voice.
Claudia DeVita
As I continue to stay active in the dance world, both teaching and choreographing, I find the transition into painting, very satisfying and fulfilling. Join me as I navigate the journey of connecting my dance world into my new painting world.
As a dancer since childhood, my life has been a journey of inspiring movement, rhythm, and expression, sharing my passion for fifty years as Founder and Director of the Allegra Dance Studio in Greenwich, CT. So when I began painting at 72 years young, I discovered a new way to extend that passion beyond the studio and the stage.
In so many ways, painting is like dance - fluid and expressive, a place where emotions flow freely, and creativity knows no bounds. Each moment of the painting process is like each step of the choreography, but using color and texture to capture dynamic energy and grace.
Allow me to share with you the fruits of my labor. This dance has just begun.

Thank You
I would never have had the courage to start this colorful and multifaceted journey without the support of a few people. Firstly, my dad who was always diving into the arts and he taught me what it meant to communicate through art.
But mostly, thank you to all the skeptics. You were the ones who made me work harder so with gratitude and great love I thank you all.
